Dr. Nambumba Amundaba is an Anatomical Pathologist at the Namibia Institute of Pathology. Has affiliations with the University of Botswana and the Aga Khan University Hospital. Her professional expertise lies in histopathology, with a special research interest in both women’s cancers.
Driven by a passion to amplify Namibia's voice in global medical research, Dr. Amundaba is committed to fostering collaborative research between clinicians and pathologists across Namibia and the region.
She envisions a future where locally-driven research, contributes meaningfully to international scientific literature and policy. Currently involved in regional research collaborations with the University of Botswana, focusing on strengthening the role of pathology in advancing patient-centered cancer care.
Through her work, she continues to advocate for more inclusive and representative research that tells Namibia’s story.
