Dr. Zhang is an Oncology Product Manager at BGI Europe A/S, a subsidiary of BGI Genomics, where she leads oncology product strategy and development across Europe and Africa. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen. With over five years of experience at BGI in both technical and commercial roles, Jialei has developed in-depth expertise in applying next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies to oncology. Her work encompasses the full spectrum of cancer care, including cancer risk assessment, early detection, and personalised treatment guidance. Through active engagement with laboratories, clinical researchers, and healthcare providers, she has played a key role in the successful implementation of over ten oncology-related genomics projects across Europe and Africa. These efforts have enabled the translation of cutting-edge functional genomics into actionable clinical insights, advancing precision oncology in diverse healthcare settings. Jialei is particularly committed to expanding access to genomic innovation and fostering collaborations that support the integration of functional genomics into cancer research and clinical practice worldwide.
